About Us

Michael H. Gelman’s varied career has included medical records administration, working as an archivist for a major insurance company, professional organizing, job and career coaching, quality improvement, and historic preservation.

The commonality in all these professions has been gathering, analyzing and acting on information. Now, as an independent information researcher and principal of Gelman2 Information Services, Michael provides his expertise in medical/health care information and historic preservation/public history to businesses, nonprofits and government agencies.

Michael is a proud member of the Association of Independent Information Professionals, a global organization that maintains and promotes high professional and ethical standards. In addition, his education and insight makes him uniquely qualified to gather, analyze and report information, create market research reports, bibliographies and more. He’s a trained librarian, historic preservation specialist and data manager with a discerning eye for detail, and a nose for uncovering the most accurate and important information.

Michael lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico with his wife and business partner, Phyllis, and consults with clients around the world.
